TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 Automatic 39mm

Designed in 1963 by Jack Heuer as a loving tribute to the most dangerous motor race in the world – the Carrera Panamericana – the Carrera watch has always been associated with life on the road. Built specifically for use by professional drivers, the original Carrera watch broke all the rules and ushered in a new era of timepiece design.

Precision engineered to meet the needs of the world’s fastest drivers, the TAG Carrera is driven by the iconic Calibre 5 automatic movement system.

The classic dial is encased within 39mm of stainless steel and protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire glass. A 38-hour power reserve ensures it keeps on ticking, while an elegant stainless steel bracelet allows for a quick and easy fit.

The dial is framed by a fixed, stainless steel bezel and features silver hands and baton markers, as well as a partitioned day/date window. Luminescent highlights are used on both the hands and markers to allow for low-light readings.

The watch is water resistant to 100 metres.
